This was my second visit to Rush Basildon, and I could not be happier. The whole team is super friendly and accommodating, the customer service is brilliant. Emilea did my hair both times and has been absolutely amazing. After having some bad experiences at other hairdressers this has restored my faith in getting my hair done. On this occasion I went from a dark brown to blonde and orange/black tips on the end, Emilea was amazing and encouraging in my love to try new whacky things and I truly couldn't be happier. Looking forward to returning. Thank you ~~

I had a blowdry with Kirsty. I needed to pamper myself after doing 2, 50 hour weeks. Kirsty was so lovely, professional & allowed me to sit in silence a lot of the time (I looked so tired😂)She took her time & didn’t rush unlike a lot of other salons. After curling each section during the blowdry, she pinned the curls for me and almost two days later they’re still holding. She complimented my extensions & I think I even persuaded her into buying herself some! I’d definitely 100% use Kirsty again. Thank you so much for making me feel better. Just the little pick me up I needed x.

Today I had my first visit at Rush Basildon and was seen by lovely Emilea. I was a bit anxious prior to the appointment as I've not been there before but when I arrived, I received a very warm welcome from the owner lady I believe and Emilea and I was attended to straight away. I was given a professional advice on the best option to achieve good result. Emilea is thorough, quick and great to chat to. I was made to feel extremely comfortable and at ease. The final result has surpassed my expectations and I was in awe of the look of my hair! I am gutted for not taking the picture but it was a proper Insta look. I felt wonderful. The whole process of booking was seamless and straightforward, all staff are really friendly, salon is very clean and well stocked. Oh and their coffee is top notch. I'm already booked for another visit. A great thank you for the entire experience. Highly recommended!

Rush saved my daughter's hair the day before a holiday. Unfortunately we originally went to Grace's and asked for a small amount off her hair that reached down to her thighs and some long layers. They hacked away incredibly unevenly and left her hair down to middle back. Thankfully as soon as the lovely staff at Rush saw what was done they found a way to squeeze us in immediately and even it up. Even after finishing Rush were apologetic that it wasn't perfect as it needs time to grow back so not losing even more length but honestly it looks amazing and I couldn't see the imperfections they could. There is no way I will ever take her anywhere else again, they are just so friendly, professional and skilled.

Got my hair cut by Emily yesterday which was a big deal for me as I'm not a fan of going to the hairdressers. Took quite a bit off which was even scarier. Emily was great and appreciated how difficult it was for me and gave me lots of reassurance and cut it beautifully. I think I might have found my new hairdresser . Thank you x

I had an absolutely amazing experience here!Emily was so lovely and made me feel so at ease. I had not got my hair cut in almost 4 years and had decided to get it short which was a really scary thought to me. But thanks to her I felt so happy and confident with my new style! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she gave me advice and an explanation why I couldn’t have exactly what I wanted but the alternatives that would work with my face shape and hair type, and as I trusted her it obviously turned out amazing!Lyn and Jess were also really great throughout the process and kept me laughing and happy,, even though it was her birthday and she was still there!The shop itself is so clean and well designed with it being so open and you can tell all of the girls here love what they do and do it professionally. 10/10 🫶

Would definitely recommend Rush in Basildon. You’ll receive a warm welcome from the manager Lynn, your offered a drink of your choice, stylist are brilliant. I had half a head of highlight and a cut and blow dry by Emilea, she was great as usual.

Carly took the time to thoroughly discuss my preferences for the full head of highlights, offering valuable suggestions along the way. Throughout the process she explained each step in detail, ensuring I understood why she used certain products or techniques and which ones would best suit my hair type/style. The service was delightful and the whole team were extremely friendly and chatty, which made you feel very welcome. Carly’s expertise and attentiveness made all the difference. Had a wonderful experience at Rush, super friendly salon felt really spoilt with the coffee and biscuits, a very relaxing treatment and head massage from Ellie-Mae and then a beautiful bouncy blow dry and wave finish from Emilea. My hair has never felt so good and it looked the best it’s ever been. I will certainly be returning.
